1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Truthcore (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users whether or not you have created an account.

2. Description of Service

Truthcore is an AI-powered fact-checking tool operated by Truthcore AI, Inc. The Service allows users to submit URLs from supported platforms — including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and news articles — and receive an automated analysis of factual claims made in that content.

A browser extension is also available for Chrome that allows fact-checking directly while browsing supported platforms. Extension access is a Pro-tier feature.

The Service uses third-party AI models and speech-to-text technology to transcribe audio, extract claims, and evaluate those claims against live web sources. Results are generated automatically and are not reviewed by human fact-checkers.

3. Disclaimer of Accuracy

TRUTHCORE AI MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY ANALYSIS, VERDICT, OR INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • The Service is not a substitute for professional journalism, legal, medical, financial, or expert advice of any kind.
  • AI-generated verdicts may be incorrect, outdated, incomplete, or misleading.
  • Confidence scores and verdicts are algorithmic outputs and do not constitute factual determinations.
  • You should always verify critical claims independently using authoritative sources.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Truthcore offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. By subscribing to Pro, you agree to the following:

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout.
  • Subscriptions begin immediately upon payment.
  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
  • Refunds are handled at our discretion and subject to Stripe's refund policies.

5. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any individual or group.
  • Submit URLs containing content that violates applicable law.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service without written permission.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

6. Third-Party Platforms

Truthcore AI, Inc. is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, or any other platform. Use of those platforms' content through the Service is subject to their respective terms of service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with third-party platform terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and technology, is the property of Truthcore AI, Inc. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You retain ownership of any content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service.

8. Accounts and Registration

Use of the Service does not require account registration. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at legal@truthcore.ai.

9. Usage Limits

The Service is subject to monthly usage limits. Free users may perform up to 10 analyses per month. Pro users may perform up to 100 analyses per month. Limits reset at the start of each calendar month. We reserve the right to adjust these limits and to suspend access to users who attempt to circumvent them.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUTHCORE AI, INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Truthcore AI, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will update the effective date when changes are made.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in state or federal courts located in Delaware.
